David Buckley
Born and based in Sydney, David Buckley studied at the Actor’s College of Theatre and Television in aspects of theatre, movement, singing and screen work. After completing his study, David performed in many theatre shows including The Full Monty (Ethan), RENT (U/S Mark) and Midlight The Musical (playing The Director).His physical theatre credits include PACT Theatre’s The Lotus Eaters (Ensemble), Deborah Pollard’s UTP production of Blue Print (Fireman) and key collaborator for stagejuice’s in the shadows. Last year, he completed an artist residency at the Shopfront Theatre for Young People, where he directed and produced his own piece of work, Gallery.David has taken many industry workshops including Zen Zen Zo’s summer intensive “Stomping Ground” and Kate Gaul’s acting workshops in ‘08 and ‘09. He is currently touring nationally with Monkey Baa/Siren Theatre Co’s production of FOX.
