Over 2006 and 2007, we devised dancing with... a performance investigation into creating contact dance relationships with an absent body. In 2006 dancing with... was presented at UWS as part of Katy's Honours degree. In 2007 dancing with... was redeveloped and presented by Quarterbred at PACT Theatre.
In 2008 we embarked on a new project, in the shadows, a hybrid performance that compares reality with perception, placing the perplexing mind at the forefront. ball, the first development of in the shadows, was performed at Liveworks, Performance Space. ball was a short dance work that followed the journey of a woman under delusion. in the shadows played at PACT Theatre in May 2009, enjoying a sell-out season.
stagejuice are currently in training - developing the ensemble, their aesthetics, techniques and methods. We are also developing another major project that will be presented in 2010.
