Tegan Misdom
Tegan is a Western Sydney born dancer who enjoys devising performance that integrates an intimate relationship between performer and content and reveals the personal to a public audience. Tegan graduated with a Bachelor of Performance, Theory and Practice (Dance) at UWS in 2005 and a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary), majoring in dance and drama, at UWS in 2007. Tegan is currently teaching Dance and English at Chifley College Bidwill Campus, Mt Druitt. Throughout her dance training and career she has worked with many choreographers including Bernadette Walong, Darren Green, Elizabeth Cameron-Dalman, Jennifer Barry- Knox, Jacob Lehrer, Lina Limounouski, Michael Waites and Peta Gray. Tegan has performed in Disneyland, California, the closing ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and contemporary dance productions such as Turn by Michael Whaites, Coalition of the Willing by Jacob Lehrer, Dance Bites and Don't Bring Lou Lou both by Darren Green. Tegan is a founding member of stagejuice. She devised and performed in both developments of dancing with... which were presented by UWS in 2006 and by Quarterbred at PACT in 2007.
